In my solution I allow end user to manage the document template. We have had instances where template is updated by accident. Ability to return to the historical versions would be beneficial.

Hi. Having more ways to view my templates it would be really helpful. For me having just the tittle works betters especially when I start to have too many templates also tag or folder.

When generating multiple documents in batch from Excel, it's not possible to customize the filenames of the generated documents. Currently there are named automatically using indexes: "Invoice 1.pdf", "Invoice 2.pdf", etc. It would be useful to be able to use merge tags in the filename like for example "Invoice for {Name}.pdf". The value from the "Name" column would be used for each row when generating the document.

Hello, I would like to request the addition of a feature that allows for Markdown content to be interpreted when passed within a variable. This would enable the formatting of text (e.g., bold, italic, headings, lists, etc.) directly within generated documents. Such functionality would greatly enhance the flexibility and presentation of dynamically generated text content. Thank you for considering this feature! Greg

This feature would allow users to monitor when and where their PDF documents are opened, shared, or engaged with after they’ve been sent.

We propose adding a feature to DocuGenerate that enables users to change their email address associated with their account. This functionality would enhance user flexibility and account management, allowing users to update their contact information as needed.

In order to upgrade the plan, you need to cancel your current plan and subscribe to the new plan. Or email support@docugenerate.com to do it for you. It would be useful to have an Upgrade button to do that automatically.

The data point selected from the Excel navigation requires too many clicks, one for each row. It would be nice to be able to select multiple rows at once more easily.

When calling the POST /template endpoint you need to pass the file parameter, which is the binary representation of the uploaded template file. It would be easier to be able to pass an URL to provide the template file, instead of its binary content. This would also allow to use the application/json content type for the POST /template endpoint, in addition to the multipart/form-data content type.

Create a way that JSON data could be passed through the API and an Excel file is generated. Each field in the JSON could be a column with the requirement that the JSON is flat (no array fields). It might not even require a template...the columns could just be names the same as the field.
